The cost to remove an infection is greatly going to depend on the infection(s) and the damage that has been done. The average removal will cost between $60 and $120 (When the work is done in my office). Some infections may have affected the system so badly that windows needs to be reloaded. In this event, I would back up any personal data prior to reloading windows.

It can take a substantial amount of time to actually remove an infection, and because of this, I usually recommend working on the system in my office.
